Thank you for considering Sugar Beet Food Co-op as a supporter of your organization, event, or community initiative. As a community-owned grocery cooperative, we are committed to supporting efforts that strengthen local food systems, improve food access, promote nutrition and wellness, support sustainable agriculture, and build a healthier community.

Due to the large volume of requests we receive, we are unable to fulfill every donation request. Priority consideration is given to nonprofit organizations, especially those focused on:

• Food access and hunger relief

• Nutrition and wellness education

• Farming and sustainable agriculture

• Environmental stewardship

• Community health and engagement

Donation Guidelines

Please review the following before submitting your request:

• Sugar Beet Food Co-op primarily donates gift cards and non-perishable products.

• We do not donate prepared foods, catered meals, or alcohol.

• For qualifying events, we may be able to offer discounts on prepared foods or alcoholic beverages.

• Approved donations must be picked up promptly at Sugar Beet Food Co-op. Delivery is not available.

• Requests must be submitted a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to the event or project date.

• Requests submitted less than three weeks in advance may not be considered.

Required Documentation

To be considered, all requests must include one of the following:

• A letter describing the request on organization letterhead, or

• Proof of nonprofit or tax-exempt status
